My memories of Eric will be of the smile on his face and the joy he always had when seeing him in a lift line or having lunch with the group at Vista House. Looking back, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t see him happily enjoying the mountains and the people in Breckenridge. The same joy could be seen when talking to him or watching videos on his Facebook feed of his pilot training. The entire Breckenridge lesson crew will miss him. He epitomized what makes that group so special in all of our lives. You surely share many similar memories. I hope that your memories of what a great person he was will help to put a smile on your face and create some warmth in your heart in the days and weeks ahead.
Both you and Eric will be in my thoughts and prayers. His smile and laugh will definitely be in my mind the next time I ski down the steeps in the Peak 7 bowl.
